REWE has switched on an automated produce hub near Berlin. Cimcorp robotics and control software run Oranienburg’s end-to-end flow, handling about 29,000 crates a day for 370 supermarkets and roughly 580 stores, with FEFO inventory rules and GS1 traceability designed into the process.
