Willog has launched Willog Vision, an integrated supply chain platform connecting cargo monitoring, exception management, AI-assisted analysis, compliance reporting, and logistics insurance around a common set of shipment data.
The system brings together four functions across Willog’s existing logistics technology. Willog Safe devices provide the physical data layer, attaching to cargo or operating in warehouses to record temperature, shock, and location at one-minute intervals. The Control Tower brings those records into an operational view covering warehouses, vehicles, and international transport legs while recording the response when an exception occurs.
The Intelligence module analyses the monitoring data to identify and diagnose risks. Willog says the system can produce reports aligned with GDP, GMP, KGSP, and HACCP requirements within three minutes, alongside tamper-verification functions intended to strengthen the evidential value of the records retained during transport and storage.
Insurance forms the fourth part of the platform. Willog is linking shipment records to logistics insurance products and claims processes, including support for disposal and reshipment costs where applicable. Connecting the evidence layer directly with claims handling is intended to reduce the amount of information that has to be reconstructed after a loss, particularly where a shipment has passed through several warehouses, carriers, or transport modes.
Condition-sensitive logistics routinely generates records across separate devices, spreadsheets, carrier systems, quality files, and insurance documentation. A temperature excursion, shock event, or prolonged customs delay can therefore trigger several parallel tasks: establishing when the event occurred, identifying which party controlled the cargo, preparing compliance evidence, and assembling the records needed for a claim. Vision is designed to keep those activities on a shared data trail from dispatch to arrival.
The launch follows Willog’s expansion of its wider supply chain intelligence business. In May, the company secured Series B-2 backing to support international growth across North America and Asia, with its technology already focused on condition-sensitive goods moving through warehouse, road, ocean, and air networks. That funding programme also supports further international deployment of Willog’s AIoT supply chain technology.
The operating model is particularly relevant where cargo integrity has to be demonstrated rather than assumed. Pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products, electronics, chemicals, and temperature-sensitive goods can pass through several custody changes before delivery, while quality teams may need evidence covering storage as well as transport. A continuous monitoring record can preserve those conditions across different legs instead of requiring separate records to be reconciled afterwards.
A temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipment, for example, can be monitored from storage through road transport and into ocean or air freight. If a temperature exception occurs, the Control Tower can alert the responsible operator while preserving subsequent actions, leaving the Intelligence module with a continuous dataset for lane validation, packaging assessment, transport-condition analysis, and compliance reporting.
The platform’s value is likely to be greatest where several organisations share custody of the same shipment. Manufacturers, forwarders, carriers, warehouse operators, quality teams, insurers, and customers can all require evidence from different points in the journey, but their records are not always collected in the same format or system. Preserving one continuous set of time-stamped condition and response data gives those parties a common reference when a delivery is delayed, damaged, rejected, or challenged on compliance grounds.
Integration will determine how effectively that information reduces operational work. Connecting sensors, alerts, quality reporting, and insurance creates an advantage only if data can pass cleanly through existing processes and operators can distinguish material exceptions from routine noise. Willog’s phased deployment gives existing customers an opportunity to establish those workflows before wider adoption, while new users will be able to evaluate the system through proof-of-concept projects.
Vision consequently extends beyond location tracking by retaining evidence that can remain useful after a shipment has arrived. The same record can support operational intervention during transport, quality and regulatory work after delivery, and claims handling where conditions have fallen outside agreed limits. That turns the monitoring device from a standalone source of shipment data into one part of a wider control and evidence process.
