New Frankfurt routes extend Central Asian reach

New scheduled freighter links into Frankfurt will widen options for cargo moving through Tashkent, adding Southeast Asian feeds and strengthening Central Asia’s role in east-west air freight routing.

IN Brief:

  • New scheduled cargo routes now connect Hanoi, Bangkok, Tashkent, Almaty, and Frankfurt.
  • Services are operating weekly with Boeing 767-300 freighters.
  • The network adds export and import options across Central Asia and Southeast Asia.

My Freighter has begun operating new scheduled cargo routes between Asia and Frankfurt, expanding its network through Tashkent and adding further east-west freight options through Central Asia.

The new pattern includes Hanoi-Tashkent-Frankfurt, Bangkok-Tashkent-Frankfurt, Tashkent-Almaty-Frankfurt, and Tashkent-Frankfurt services, with flights operating weekly using Boeing 767-300 freighters. The move gives the carrier added reach into Southeast Asia while strengthening its European connection through Frankfurt.

The new services are intended to support outbound shipments from Uzbekistan into Southeast Asia, increase cargo flows from Vietnam and Thailand into Europe, and improve import capacity into Tashkent and Almaty. That combination gives the network a mixed role, serving both regional export development and inbound handling for general cargo and pharmaceutical traffic.

For My Freighter, the expansion adds another layer to its strategy of building a Central Asian air cargo corridor that connects Asian production centres with European gateways through its Tashkent hub. For forwarders and shippers, the value lies in added routing choice on lanes that have historically offered less direct capacity than larger coastal hubs.
