Craemer has expanded its CB3 pallet-box range with the launch of the CB3 Low, a reduced-height model aimed at heavy-duty applications where full-volume containers are not the most efficient fit. The new box keeps the established 1,200 x 1,000 mm industrial footprint of the CB3 family while cutting height to 580 mm.
That lower profile is intended to suit manual operations and more ergonomic handling on site, particularly where operators need quicker access to contents or are moving pressure-sensitive goods in smaller volumes. Craemer is positioning the box for use across food processing, fish handling, mechanical engineering, and metalworking, all sectors where robust reusable load carriers continue to displace more fragile or short-life alternatives.
The CB3 Low is manufactured in one piece from food-safe, fully recyclable polyethylene and is offered with three unwelded runners as standard, with a nine-foot option also available. In runner format, the unit weighs 34.5 kg, offers a payload of 750 kg, a stacking load of 4,500 kg, and capacity of around 430 litres.
Craemer said the design work centred on base rigidity and stacking performance, with finite element modelling used to refine the rib structure, runner connection, and centre-post configuration. The result is less a cosmetic line extension than a more targeted handling format for operators that need durability and stack strength without carrying the extra height of a larger pallet box through the warehouse or production flow.
